You can use all the same design tools and templates we use when designing custom enamel pins. Now when you send your designs to enamel pin manufacturer's, you'll be speaking the same language.
Step 1: Download the .ai file.
Step 2: Copy and paste the top portion of the sheet onto a new page.

Step 4: Most people design pins larger than actual size to start with. Be mindful that when you are creating an area less than 2mm at actual size, it's will not hold enamel (too small) . Once you are done designing your pin, use the sizing boxes, electroplate swatches and enamel fill swatches to colourize and vectorize your art.
The cheat sheet is really handy because it guides you on best practices regarding line width, pin sizing and other things you need to know so that your pin is production ready.
